Hi Folks

Got some (possibly) goods news if you in the market for a new speaker setup in the next few months, round the £1800 - £2k mark.

A little birdy has told me that KEF will be bringing out a new floor standing package which will sit above the 5005 range. The new speakers also use the ACE (Acoustic Compliance Enhancement) technology which can be found in their £500 a speaker package!

If you've not heard or seen the ACE speaker its built to a slim design, so very house friendly and sounds very much like a big-box speaker in that it has depth and good bass.

Hopefully they will be demoed at the Bristol show but as yet, whether they will be and the exact retail price is undecided. Should be iinteresting!!

Hope that pleases somebody!? :)

Yes, yes, know all about them. They are called the KHT6000s an they are a slimline version of the KHT9000. Did you also know there will be a piano gloss black version of the KHT9000 soon.

a successor to the 2005.2 set as well in the last CES? I think I have heard such a set is about to be released to compete with the Genies...

I haven't heard anything about this. Are you sure it just wasn't the Q-compact range?
