The Testarossa and Lambo are owned by Harry Metcalfe. You'll also see them high up in the background of Top Gear.
Worth keeping an eye on Harry's Garage on YouTube if you fancy finding out more about his cars.

Great guest this week on the podcast too, really interesting to have his input.

Thanks everyone, loved the HDR / projector piece, nice to hear Ricky’s thoughts too, have had dealing with him on calibration software over the years, nice bloke.

Dust, glad to hear it’s not just my ocd, whatever they coat the transparent piece of plastic in front of lcd displays, eg my Yamaha AV receiver, Panasonic 4K player, trying to rub dust off with a duster is impossible, lint free cloth is the only one that will do it.
As for stubborn stains Phil, try Nilco Nilglass, bought it for the car years ago, works a treat, use a microfibre cloth with the spray and have a quick scrub, return a few mins later and buff with dry bit of same cloth.
Has saved me hours on the windows!

You're right, Nick Briggs does the voice but Nick Pegg is a Dalek operator as well as an authority on David Bowie. His Complete David Bowie should be required reading for any fan of The Dame.

Another great podcast. Interesting bit about the maxcll and maxfall of UHD discs. If a 1000 nits have become more common , it certainly makes my choice of a new TV easier. (OLED VS FALD LCD-LED)

Currently own a 65" XE9005 and i'm quite happy with the lightoutput from it in HDR. If it were brighter i'd need sunglasses. But thats just my opinion.

Great with a guest "star" although he sounds a bit like Cas ;) (nothing wrong with that btw :))

Yeah, I'm scratching my head here as the XML checker couldn't find any errors and I also went through and checked everything is correct. I have uploaded and deleted the XML numerous times to see if that makes any difference, but the download numbers are the same, so no idea at the moment, sorry. I'll need to get hold of admin.

Peggy Briggs co authored the book Smashing Balls -Golf, Opening Doors for Women. I've no idea as to whether she also has anything to do with Doctor Who, Daleks or David Bowie?

Bowie did once get mistaken for one of the cast of Doctor Who after appearing on Top Of The Pops to perform 'Gene Genie' in 1973. Bowie and The Spiders From Mars were loitering backstage at the BBC Television Centre when some of the extras from the Doctor Who series 10 episode 'Planet of The Daleks' were also passing through. The costumes being worn by Bowie and his band are apparently supposed to have given the impression that they too were part of the Doctor Who cast?

David Bowie was almost on Doctor Who as Sharaz Jek in The Caves of Androzani. Bowie did consider the role but the filming dates clashed with the dates of his Serious Moonlight tour.

and just like Doctoe Who, David Bowie was an Alien :lesson:

      Nice podcast as always lads.

I thought I'd add my quick fix so you can make every movie demo material  @Steve Withers As most of your demo mentions were actually quite respectable filtered around 20hz/non filtered bass movies (A Quiet Place, Overlord, Life etc!) You do know you can pretty much make any movie sound as good as those?

I have a feeling Samsung are developing in partnership with ####### a new Digital Library service like iTunes, but with some competitive benefits such 8K content and should work really well with BuxBy. I think Rakatuen has also announced 8k on LG web os.

Have been interested in Naim products for a while now and they seem solid.

You know that Naim and Focal merged in 2017.

Podcast downloaded yesterday automatically (using downcast on iOS) and was the last podcast. Deleted and downloaded again this morning and listed to the Airwolf chat for the third time (was shaving and had wet hands, so left it be). Now when I check the listings for the podcast from the app the newest one is not even listed, only the 11th podcast. Very odd.

A few people have reported this, but we haven't been able to find the issue. I have used iTunes and anypod via Alexa today and it brings up the latest version. Perhaps clearing your cache and trying again?

Thanks for the great podcast, really enjoyed it. Would like to get more info on the HDR as we have recently purchased a JVC 7900 and HDR is a PITA as Steve says, a lot of the footage is too dark. Is there a quick fix on these for now until I can get it professionally calibrated.

I terms of Audio, The Cinematic Orchestra's lates album is spot on but also dig out Kruder and Dorfmeisters the K&D Sessions. Brilliant album and beautifully mastered.

Good one gents and enjoyed the chat about projectors. Whilst I have no plans to buy one, the discussion was informative and I look forward to future guests. Still trying to visualise the scene involving Phil and his mates with their diner discount codes. Where's YouTube when you need it?

I have the right one when I use the Apple Podcasts app but I much prefer the Pocketcasts app which keeps pulling the previous episode, even when I use the XML link at the top of this page ... it seems to have cached the last episode.
