Yeh, can't go wrong with Sony phones - don't get the sales / publicity that Apple and Samsung get, but they are just as good, if not better..

Nice to see the x4400h has enhanced ARC, really useful feature especially for people like myself who have a NAS with lots of media containing high resolution audio codecs.

Yeah, feature-wise it's hard to think of what else Denon could cram in to the X4400.

I found myself singing along to the music at the end of the podcast when listening in the car this morning.

      Issues.

Thanks folks and good to hear the whole gang. Very interested in Steve's review of the X4400H as this has been in my sights for sometime. Think the eARC element may tip the balance from the 4300 and will hopefully purchase it soon if I can find a Black Friday deal. Quick Google search does not reveal many 4300s left out there.
Fond memories of my first VHS recorder. Amazing to think I would need seven of them to record six progammes simultaneously whilst watching a recording considering the capability of Sky Q. Mind you, there were only four tv channels then.

@Steve Withers I’ve seen the Spielberg documentary after listening to the podcast and love it....you forgot how many movies this man has given us over the many many years of film making.

Watched this last night too (Cheers Steve for highlighting), great doc, what a fantastic catalog.
Very interesting to see how his relationship with his father is carried through to many of his films.
Some of my favorite films from Jaws, Munich, Close encounters, Empire of the Sun get a nice mention.
Also loved watching the gang back in the 70's, De Palma, Scorsese, Lucas, Coppola and how they helped each other.
Good old Laurence of Arabia still inspires him

Ed, I didnt realise how many Peppa Pig eps exist, looks like I have to put up with it for many more months!

Interested in ROKU Streaming stick, but is Roku Ultra Available in the UK? Can’t seem to find it.

Apple TV4K when streaming from iTunes has been noted to go upto 40mbps speed, assuming the internet bandwidth supports it. Awesome. I hope when Amazon is added to Apple TV4K it is the Dolby Vision Version, as all other devices and Smart TV’s in UK only do HDR10.

Great pod guys. I had a chuckle when you were discussing your first VCR's. The chat had more than a faint whiff of The 4 Yorkshiremen Monty Python sketch!

Thanks for a great listen, as normal !

Peppa Pig is relentless (every time i had a new sprog there seemed to be 100 new episodes), but at least each one is pretty short. My lot have moved on to the wired world of CN. I find Adventure Time and The Regular Show pretty out there - and all the better for it. I think the Magic Roundabout creators passed on their drug habits to this crowd. We Bare Bears is pretty funny as well.

4EAF4A53-ED59-4A81-9148-9B0C621CB2D7.png Apple TV 4K DOLBYVISION HDR - Movie prices are incredible value.
Some 4K DOLBYVISION Movies are actually as low as £4.99 to buy.
"Terminator Genisys" might not be that popular but as an example it is £4.99 [DOLBYVISION, 4K] to Buy on iTunes vs £17.99 for the 4K BLU RAY [no DOLBYVISION or HDR10].

MOVIES ARE BEING ADDED FREQUENTLY TO THE ITUNES STORE FOR 4K/DOLBYVISION TITLES.
