Thanks lads, and for the heads up on the Nolan collection, had planned to add Dunkirk to the growing UHD collection, but would love to see The Prestige, Interstellar and Inception (never mind the Batman trilogy) get the UHD treatment, so hopefully this set will hit the UK.

2 Ep's into The Vietnam war (still available on iplayer for another 23 days BBC4), have to agree, great documentary so far.
Mindhunter is taking my series of the month, no doubt ST2 next month along with Close Encounters on UHD, just need old Bruce to get a polish up (assuming it has been done already as the Jaws Blu release looks gorgeous).

Looking forward already to the CES coverage!

Goodlisten as usual. I was pleased with Edd’s album of the month choice as a long standing Stars fan. Try ‘in our bedroom after the war’ as a highlight of their back catalogue.

I'm surprised Phil liked the La La Land UHD disc. I made the mistake of buying this one when I bought my Sony 4K player and I thought it looked pretty awful. The HDR is horribly over done and the image is very soft, which is no surprise as it's just an upscale. I'd say it's the worst looking UHD disc I've seen so far. The bluray looks considerably better.

@Ed Selley what was the film your saw that @Phil Hinton wouldn't allow you to mention? Also, do you have the URL to the Tidal Mindhunter playlist? Many thanks.

I'm going to give The Vietnam War a go, despite tight timescales. Since "The World at War" is one of my favourite all time shows, this is of interest.

I've been binging this on iPlayer and it's a superb documentary series. It's that good, it's been keeping Stranger Things 2 off my TV!

It looks like The Vietnam War is being repeated straight away, with ep 1 on saturday 4th and ep 2 on 11th.

The Vietnam War - Next on - BBC Four

This takes the pressure off iplayer deadlines !
