Thanks gents for another fine podcast and quite a few laughs. Looking forward to Mark's forthcoming review of the 4K Apple TV, the first time I have been interested in one of their new products for some time. It does seem that in the coming years, all products will only experience incremental updates - not that Apple will market them in that manner.

Anyone know why the iPhone 8 wasn't named the iPhone 7s? It's the same design after all...

Probably because Samsung is on the S8 and Galaxy Note 8. An iPhone 7S would sound like a step behind.

Also note the XBox 360 should really have been the X Box 2. Except it was up against the PlayStation 3. Of the two, the PlayStation 3 would have sounded better than X Box 2, so it was called the 360.

      Great podcast gents.

Not a surprise regarding the iPhone announcement as most of the 'new' tech has been available on Nexus/Pixel and Samsung phones. FWIW, I use an iPhone for work & while it's a slick piece of hardware, I would not pay the asking price for it.

On the subject of the longevity of turntables, I still have my Linn Axis w Basik arm & K9 cartridge I bought for around £400 about 30 years ago. Still works great, I suppose I should change the bearing oil one day... I did have to buy new hinges for the lid though.

Enjoyable poddy as usual guys plus you've confirmed my suspicions on the TV report I saw when at Anahiem (California) in as much that it isn't just Disneyland who is getting this "Star Wars" Land" as "Disney World" in Orlando is getting it to. Apparently it's going to be called "Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge". At Disneyland it will occupy a 14-acre site, I don't know about the size of the theme park in Disney World but given how much bigger that is compared to Disneyland who knows. It's due to open at both parks sometime in 2019. I'm sure this information will be greeted by PH and Count W with unbounded enthusiasm, they have even built a themed park in Orlando based on "Avatar" and there is a link within this link on that one.

Link from Wikipedia.... Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge - Wikipedia

      Gents, completely off topic

On one of the podcasts you mentioned a list of recommended TV shows, I just watched Chaos On The Bridge but for the life of me I can't remember the rest of the reccommendations

I know you had the topic pinned to the home page but I can't seem to find the link

Keep up the excellent work, you guys are so funny to listen to

      Thanks in advance
