Thanks again to all of you for a varied and interesting show.
I was particually interested in the Epson mini review, I won't promote another sites reviews but they did a Epson TW9300 vs TW7300 shootout and you might be glad to hear that the contrast was much better on the TW9300, also they did tests in batcave and living room situations. Can't wait to have a look at them now. I too own a JVC X70 btw. Thanks again guys.

      Another excellent podcast

I went so see Arrival the other week, and whilst I enjoyed it didn't think it was the amazing film that so many think it is.

I had a cracking black Friday buying experience 2 jumpers from Gap and wolfenstein the old blood for £4.50 on steam :)

They were only originally going to use Shatner and Nimoy but Nimoy refused unless the rest of the main cast were also included, I guess Koenig drew the short straw.

Great to have you guys back.

Really interesting about the Epson. They seem to be really making an effort this year and hell with the profit margins. But its it really that big?! Again no position to buy, but for the price and my ever disappearing bat cave cinema room, it's seems a massively good buy. Shame no black option.

Oh and as for the film with the most cinema visits I think must be

      Terminator 2. 4 times.
Brain Dead 3 times, 3 nights in a row.

Think thats about it really. Nothing else springs to mind.

Regarding the grand tour, I found that if you access the show from the featured section it shows in UHD only, but if you access it from the 4k section it shows in hdr

Good podcast again, albeit somewhat subdued by recent standards. Guess Rogue One will change all that. Good to hear Steve's review of the Denon AVR X6300H. Bodes well as I am looking at the 4300. Any chance of reviewing it from a purely selfish point of view?

I usually listen to these podcasts when I go out for a run. The Cool Runnings comment had me properly laughing out loud, as I jogged past a fella walking his dog, resulting in said man and dog giving me highly perplexed looks.

@Steve Withers - quick question. You mentioned that you covered your cinema room in black velvet (and I've read your articles regarding Dolby Cinema with tips on attempting to achieve a completely black home cinema room). Did you put up velvet material in the ceiling as well or just leave it painted black? Cheers.

Many thanks for the podcast guys - great as always.

Also - if there is a film that deserves to be watched more than once, it's Arrival, which is superior on subsequent viewings.

Yes I put black velvet on the ceiling as well, along with black velvet covered MDF in the windows and black carpets. I also painted the inside of the door and the window sill black.
