Same comment as above guys. By the way does this mean no more "Shakin' Steven's" video's from Count Withers at "CES" next year? :D

:offtopic: Not that i've mentioned it untill now, well only once a couple of days ago on the new thread about the "Denon" AVR X6300H, but if you read my "personal details" section :boring: (which is somewhat long winded:boring: :boring:) you will find out why relatively recently I have written on threads more in the daytime as opposed to my usual slot in late afternoons and evenings. The bottom line is that I had a heart attack on the 1st May and had a stent fitted, this was then followed four weeks later by having a triple heart bypass. I will be getting my hackney carriage licence back in a few days time so I can go back to work after a seven month hiatus, in other words no income for all that time. Its not been an easy year for me, but eventually I got through it all.... thank heavens. :smashin:

Enjoying the podcast ( download via iTunes - reached 20 mins so far ) albeit there is a continuous high pitch ringing sound in the background. Guess you might need to go back to Windows XP!

Finished the podcast and another great listen. Good update from Steve about the Ultra HD Alliance and helps explain why this juggernaut is moving along so slowly. There has to be a trade off about agreement as surely it's in the best interest of all the parties involved to resolve the issues asap.
Looking forward to all the coming reviews.
Interesting UHD purchase by Phil - Steve's reaction said it all in view of the number of discs he has brought.
Sympathise with Ed having to put up with all the Rogue One chat, if nothing else his views on the apocalypse should be a good response. I just pity any other passengers within earshot on the flight to Las Vegas.
Re Black Friday - Amazon price tracker, Amazon price history charts, price watches, and price drop alerts. is a good site to look up the price history of an item especially on Amazon.
As for Steve's proposed Sausage party .................

It seems we're trying a new system out tomorrow to test before Friday. Phil is going to be the proud owner of 20 minutes of me yelling at a toddler.

Yep, sorry guys... I had to switch this off after 2 minutes aswell.

Phil, if you have any raw footage where nobody is talking for a few seconds, and can send me that + the the actual podcast as a .wav file, I'd be happy to try and stealthily filter out the high pitch noise.

I have a few high-end plugins in my studio that might help.

      Jules.

I've worked on the audio for a while and it finally has no high pitched sound. This applies for the audio file via direct link or the player above. I'll fix the video tomorrow.

Much better, but still present. I reckon I can get through it now though.

I have the unfortunate curse of having both bat hearing and auditory OCD, so I'm sure its probably fine for most mortals.

      Thanks.

I'm really sensitive to it, but I managed to listen to the rest of the podcast this morning.

@phil - completely agree with you about Black Friday, and honestly, it doesn't feel special or different to any other day this year. I've not bought anything and that's a first!

@Steve - I also have to eat humble pie re: UHD bluray. I thought it would be a complete flop but it seems I was wrong :) (happily I might add). I'm interested in it but sadly I couldn't choose 65" UHD over 8' wide 1080p (which is what it would have to be in my room, as most projectors have too long a throw for my living room, so I'm restricted to the budget DLP models).

Yep, it sounds to me like Phil has used a noise gate to mask it in quieter passages which helps (you can hear it stuttering on release), but it won't get rid of it when they are talking.

Great podcast with Lot's of talking points and made enjoyable, educational and thoroghly entertaining through comical delivery from you lad's. You made me laugh on several occasions.
I have also wondered on several occasions when watching zombie, apocalyptic films/series why no one uses bicycles. Typically in this weeks Walking Dead a bicycle was used to travel.keep the excellent podcasts come coming.

I'm with @Ed Selley horses really are crap animals. For all the time my wife has moaned at me about my blu-ray habit, I just remind her about how much her mate with the horse spends on getting some poor sod at the stables to feed it and pick up it's feacal matter.

One post-apocalyptic film which did use bikes, indeed BMXs, was the fun Turbo Kid, where all the characters waged a violent gore-fest against each other on BMXs.
