I spent a bit of last night eating pooontang's dust (YES I SAID DUST :rotfl:  )

seems that my cars are just no fast enough - i think by friday some members will be driving that thing Richard Noble did the land speed record in - probably with a picture of Homer simpson on the side or Peter Griffin :smashin: (I'm only jealous)

I only have 2 pieces of advice.
    1. Run each track as many times as you can so that you know where your going for each race

    2. Brake in straight lines. Even if you miss the pefect point to apply the brakes do not attempt to brake and steer at the same time, your car will just slide out, onto the grass, race over. Instead just have confidence that your car will (eventually) stop. It's better to come to a complete standstill (usually un-nessecary), but still on the track than to crash out.

GaryD - didn't know you were Firework, if i did i'd of said hello. Munkey why didn't you tell me?

cheers pooontang - it's more slowing too much rather than sliding straight into the grass or walls and loosing speed coming out of the corners . i know not to brake and steer at the same time. learnt that in toca race driver 2!!

    more practice i feel.

Still a bit shy  spent most of yesterday being slapped about by yanks, which was a bit demoralising. Small boys picking the most powerful cars and then not being able to drive them

I saw you were on so thought i'd join in - have to say my heart sank when some one picked Toyko - far to "angular"for me :D

i'll get better with time. (i hope)

You new on live then? usually i can't shut up when on live as i've usually got a fine 'herbal remedy' on the go which always seems to loosen the jaw. :D

if you can avoid yanks at all times.

aha, the magic of the non-competitive herbs. Unfortunately that particular aspect does not seem to work, i like to win.
