Had some really great fun tonight with MP and some forum members. We tried lots of the different game types. All were fun with the possible exception of "Search and Rescue" which was kinda like CS hostage type mode but as we really weren't sure what was going on we ditched it after just one round. The MP game is hugely configurable and what's great is that all players can see what the exact setup is. Very useful if the host misses a setting (which is easy to do!). Some of the maps are huge and some are incredibly atmospheric - ambient light and sounds adding to the tension. We also played several co-op games, only Elimination and I can report that the AI seems to be pretty good! When you get more players the difficulty does decrease but it's still fun if there are only a few of you about and not enough for head to head. I've only got a few gripes - I hate having music that you can't turn off. Looped music in the lobby drives me nuts and the mood music in the game can get tiresome. Only other gripe is the manual. A few pages which barely scratch the surface of what's in the game. No info on configurations or weapon specs for example. Looking forward to finding out a whole lot more about the game. For those that don't have it yet, you're in for a treat lads. I'm sure you won't be disappointed with MP.
