I was googling and have stumbled upon this forum, and its a great forum!

Anyway, i started off from Sony's web page and i noticed they talked about Euro1080 channel and after googling i ended up here!!

I know that i can play WMV9 HD clips, and Mpeg.ts files using VLAN (video Lan)

Anyway i really need to know if this PCI card would work to recieve the Euro180 (i have a 80CM dish)

    anyway its avermedia DVB-S

The Avermedia is not any good now for Euro1080, as it is now a subscription channel, You would be best reading up on either the new Skystar CI Card, or the Nova CI Card, both can handle the viewing card req.

look in this forum for new Skystar CI Card, this card will be able to take a CAM and therefore an HD1 subscription card.

This is the way I'll be doing it.
