    Help,

I can sucessfully encode ripped DVDs in the AVC format within PSPVideo9 but when I transfer the files my PSP will not let me see them, I have used explorer to look at the PSP memory stick and the file is there but I can't see it within the PSPs video menu - what have I done wrong?

    Hi, try this:

For videos that begin with MAQ, be sure to put them in \MP_ROOT\100ANV01 in the "Destination" menu.
For videos that begin with M4V, be sure to put them in \MP_ROOT\100MNV01 in the "Destination" menu.

This is from an article about the new PSP video format here:http://psp.ign.com/articles/637/637459p1.html

    hope this helps :smashin:

Still not getting it , right I"m converting movie in avc profile ok to correct directory ie 100ANV01, copy to card and put file in the above folder.
But on the psp it shows no videos although I know its on card ?

At what stage and how is the video renamed to MAQ ?

The video is renamed MAQ or M4V by PSPVideo9 when it encodes into your selected format.
