I've got one of these and tend to watch what they go for.
On the forum they do not fetch much, around £600 or less.
On Ebay you will probably do better, or advertising it privately.
I sold a sub on Ebay, and the guy who collected it, saw my Denon, and asked me to let him know if ever I decided to sell. He said he would pay £800 to £900.
At the time I wasn't interested, but later saw an A1 SRA for sale on the forum and thought I might change mine for that. When I contacted him he was sorted, had got one of the smaller Denons.
You could try ebay with a reserve.

Out of interest, what have you got now.

but I think that's due to the set up I will have to experiment with the settings for a while.

    Hi Ian,
Not sure what to suggest as a minimum reserve. It depends on what you think you would be prepared to accept. In your shoes, I would rather keep it than let it go for less than £500.
The Denon is a super amp. You could possibly use it with the Pioneer to bi-amp your speakers.

I am not sure that I would consider the Pioneer to be a better amp than the Denon.
I would be interested to know in what way you consider the Pioneer to be an improvement over the Denon.

    Hi Steve
I think i will put the reserve at £550 and see how it goes.
s far as the Pio goes the reason i bought it was that I have aquired a load of Pio equipment over the lst year Plasma / DVD. plus still have my old Laser Disc player I was interested in the iLink feature hoping to get the Pio HDMi DVD when they drop a bit in price.
The deciding factor was the price £1475. bought it from the same shop i got my Denon from few years back their a Denon and Pio main dealer have had good service from them over tthe years so that and a couple of good reveiws plus i could not afford the £4000 for the latest Denon
    Regards
    Ian.H
