AVC-A1HD Scaling

A1HD is an excellent amplifier - however I struggle with video scaling (so acclaimed Realta chip) - simply when playing DVD's I do not see ANY difference whether i/p scaling is on or off (Video Conversion is of course set on). I connect my DVD player (Denon 3910) via HDMI I was switching off and on its internal scaler. I also tried with Denon DVD-2500BT and Apple TV (with different output resolutions) - still NO VISIBLE results.
Is something wrong with my Denon?
Did anyone experience similar issue?

Try connecting your 3910 up via component and setting it to output interlaced video.

Then allow the amp to upscale to 1080p.

That gave the best gains for me.
