This is definitely the way to go, I upgraded mine by picking up a 2nd hand DP from Ebay for £2000. You cannot underestimate exactly what a killer app TMREQ really is. :)

Trouble is that DP's being sold second hand are very rare for good reason (they are bloody good units), I have several friends waiting and searching every day after they listened to ours.....

I am in the process of selling my AV32BP192 with Tag 250w*3 Amp and would like to know if its easier to first upgrade it to DP then offer it for sale.
    What you guys think.

:nono: I don't recommend you anything of ebay, because they usually leave very unpleasant surprises... :lesson:

I think that this is generally not the case, providing you take the obvious and sensible precautions necessary when selling any potentially high value item via an auction.

Don't sell to anyone with zero or negative feedback
Insist on either cash or Paypal transcations(never via wire or similar, and remember the recent spate of cheque scams)
    Avoid overseas transactions wherever possible.

I've sold a number of items via ebay(as have many of my colleagues)with no significant problems.
