Was (am) decided to buy the 2011 but then my plans about the display changed (RP to Projector) so don't know if the 3803 would make a huge difference using a projector.

    Any ideas?

MCACC, THX and the looks (have a 757) are saying 2011 but...

Probably depends what kit you want to connect to the Projector and what inputs the projector has.

The 3803 has upconversion (Composite video to Svideo and Svideo to Component video) which may be useful ... or you could add an external scaler instead.
