AV stores in Northern Ireland selling Hitachi

    Hi All,

    Took a couple of weeks off to enjoy my new screen after deciding to buy the Hitachi 7200 and as I live in the Republic, my best option was to buy from Richersounds in Belfast as it works out cheaper than the republic and they would let me view it with my own dvd's etc

    The problem? - they are now out of stock and its not available again till Aug 10th??? So I have a couple of weeks off and no chance of getting the screen.

    Any chance of anyone from the north advising on where to buy - I only want to spend the £2,000 quoted by richersounds.

    Please help or my holiday is ruined!

    I take it you don't want to go any where near Currys? Otherwise you're abit snookered for choices. Why not buy it on-line and get it delivered to a friends house up north and do a cruise and collect? OR buy my pv500 off me as i live 15 mins away from Belfast City Centre ;)

    Yeah its really only currys or laser both should price match for you.

    I was thinking of the curry's route, but they mention on their website that the prices are only for buying through the web and I also wanted to be able to view the tv before buying i.e have a proper viewing, as far as Im aware they don't allow this in Currys?

    Can't purchase from the web as they won't deliver to the republic and also I dont know anyone in Northern Ireland to provide me with an address.

    Was hoping someone might be aware of a retailer in the north I could buy off?
