    Hi Guys

I have a friend who is looking to spend £3500 on a new set up and i am trying to point him in the right direction.

He only has my limited knowlegde to go on.

    We have come up with;

Panasonic plasma from AV Sales PW7 42"

    Denon 2805
    Canton Ergo 302 (rear)
    Canton Ergo 702 (front)
    Canton Ergo 402 (centre)
    Canton Ergo 1.2 Sub

The speakers and the amp are from Hifi Regler for about euro 2660, (£1800)

I am not too sure about the ergo series and weas wondering about the Acoustic energy Evo for the speakers.

Also a DVD recorder is requires about £200 is the limit.

Any thoughts or improvements please on any of it?????

    All the best

What about the Yamaha 2500 from Germnay for approx £600 and then the AE evo 6.1 package (you may be able to find this cheaper but this price does include shipping:D )

This should cost about £1400 leaving you and extra £400 for the dvd recorder and cables.

Also worth checking out are Creative audio . They have some fantastic deals:smashin:

Thanks for that, the Creative Audio site has some great deals indeed! I had been thinking about the AE Evos.

They have a deal with the A evos and the denon3805 or the yammy2500 fir the same price i know they are evenly matched buth which edges it???

Also would you go with the Panasonic TH-42PWD7BS or somthing different? Again that is what i have and am happy with it. However there has been soem talk about hdtv and the lack of support from panasonic.

    Cheers

There is very little support for hdtv all round at the moment so I wouldnt worry to much about it. The next generation of Panasonics will all support HDTV.

Both are very good amps with different strenths and weeknesses. See ifyou can get a demo of the amps to see which sound you prefere.

    Mornin'

I would definately have the Ergo's over the Evo's as I have both in our demo room and and did a comparison with quite a few people and found that the Ergo's went louder, lower and the midrange was spot on where the Evo's mid-range seemed to be coloured and muddied by the bass.

    regards
