    Hi Everyone,

Which of Denons, Marantz and NAD receivers are able to drive 4 ohm loads better? I have come across a pair of Totem Rainmakers and Arros (both brand new) for 50 % off list. Was thinking of building a 5.1. system around them. A no-no? Deal sounds so delicious.

Budget up to 600 quid for receiver.

    Thanks

It's a fair way out of your price range, but as a small starting point I can confirm that the Marantz SR9300 easily drives my 4 ohm Elac 207.2 floorstanders (www.elac.com).
