Hi, does anyone have any good experience with amp / receivers which have a phono input and with some wifi / airplay capability?

What is the analogue phono (RCA) input to be used to connect and what kind of a budget do you have for the receiver? Have you any other preferences or needs?

The phono input is for a turntable. Budget between £2-500. Primary use is the turntable but would be great for the family to stream from their devices.

You'd have to be looking at the mid and higher range AV receivers if wanting an onboard phono stage. This could be an issue if you want this year's most current models because your budget wouldn't be enough to fascilitate this. The model I'd suggest is one of last years receivers, the Marantz SR6009. You can get this for about £500 and it includes both an MM phono stage as well as inbuilt wifi and Bluetooth.

I'd pay more attention for sound quality of the AVR. If it lacks phono stage, it's no big deal. Also an external phono stage would most likely be superior to ones inside a AVR. Plus being external that would be an advantage.

I think Marantz AVR's have phono stage?

As I said, look at the Marantz SR6009.
