Hello! First post.. not really needed to post before because of the great "Search" button Anyways, I recently bought a Wharfedale 5.1 Speaker Package consisting of: 2 x Wharfedale Diamond 8.1 Plus Bookshelf Speakers 2 x Wharfedale Diamond DFS18 Rear Speakers 1 x Wharfedale Diamond 8 Plus Centre Speaker. Really happy with that purchase - seems a lot of people are happy with them. Now, though, I need to get an AV Receiver to connect the lot up to my computer. I'm going to be using the Coxial Digital Output on my PC to the receiver.. So, what are your suggestions? Budget.. I'd like to spend no more than £200 delivered, ideally.. I've currently looked at: - Denon AVR1705 - A lot of people seem happy with this, and I've found it for within my budget. - Yamaha RXV350 I did look at a load more, but I do want some sort of warrenty so buying brand new is the better option for me I think. The only thing the receiver needs to have is the coax digital input (most do.) and it has to be silver! So, what do people think would be the best way? Would the Denon (This one is winning right now!) be suitable for me and serve me well? I know some people say some receivers arn't suited to some speakers.. so that's why I'm posting! Don't wanna rush into it and buy something which won't be suitable. As for what it'll be used for - Music quite a bit, but DVD's also.. so just "normal stuff" I'm guessing Thanks for any help!
