Have been browsing around looking at various AV racks for some time. I've been looking for a wooden rack as my AV rack will be positioned on top of a custom made cabinet (used for storage).

I came across these Torlyte racks at http://www.russandrews.com. They look really nice but have a price tag to go wth it! There's lot's of really top kit on this site worth looking at.

Well if I can't afford the AV rack I might just go for the Cone Feet - they're cool. :)

The Torlyte range has been around for some time, with quite a few decent independent reviews in terms of sound quality and isolation, but as you say,the price tag is right up there with Mana and other equivalents.

The cones make sense in terms of isolation, and avoid much of the cost,as well as fitting in with your wooden cabinet...I'm sure you've seen that he also markets wooden plinths which may represent a middle ground in terms of cost.
