How does a home demo work then?

You pay £100 on top of the purchase price, if you return the item (they pay delivery) they keep the £100, if you keep it, they refund you the £100.

We have a clearance offer on the JBL Synthesis SDA-7200 - 7 channel power amp.

AVForums members can get an extra £100 off using code LDSF at the basket. This brings the price for £1250 from the original £2999.

@AV Online what are your thoughts on the new hdi series from jbl?
Hi @Topmetom 2

Not so long ago we had the rep in who demonstrated a brand new pair of 1600's. With the exception of the tweeter needing a few hours running in, I was quite taken aback with their performance levels

One thing that was apparent from the outset was the speakers ability in the lower/mid ranges areas. It's been sometime since I'd heard a standmount speaker produce so much depth and blend it that well without eating the mid range. All the tracks we tried had that urgency that I really enjoy from a good pair of speakers and if there was anything to criticise the 1600 for it was that the tweeter needed more hours to hear everything that this speaker had to offer, but I cannot criticise them for that as that wasn't their fault

As these are also designed to work with cinema, I feel that they could show a few woofers up due to their ability as they will be unforgiving with sluggish ones and my overall thought is that simple. I really enjoyed them in the state I heard them even though and expect them to only get better with time. As for 2CH speakers, anyone who want a standmount that produces depth and accurate bass without upsetting the mid range, then they'll be quite tough to beat especially at the price. So, its a thumbs up from me and I'm quite critical, but cannot be with these speakers as they ticked my boxes

Hi Shane, will this support 4 ohm speakers? I looked in the specs but only quotes 8ohms. Do you think it would be a good match with my MK S150mk2's? I currently have an SR6010 that i got from you and need an additional amp for 5.2.4 and thought this would give more power all round.

Cheers

I guess it’s used by installers, but can you point me to anything on the web about SDA-7200. JBL website is sparce. Is there more detailed spec anywhere or photos of inside.
Thanks

Not that I’m aware of. We have the manual as a download on the product. But as you’ve mentioned it’s quite a niche product and with the exception of what on the manual, there isn’t much out there. However, that doesn’t mean it’s credentials are any less as it’s still quite a power house of a power amp which I’m sure those who have it running at home can vouch for
