I have just bought a Yamaha RXV620RDS receiver. My system consists of Wharfdale DVD750 player,Nicam Video with 2 scarts, Sky Digibox with 2 scarts. I have read conflicting reports about the best hook-up method, but any suggestions. Use scarts to TV presently and run phonos to the receiver and a one-off set-up using the on-screen display from the receiver, or using the reciver as the controling unit for audio and video and use scart - 6 phonos etc. My system sits about 4 metres away from the TV and the latter method will be quite a bit more expensive.
