Hi All

Just made a silly mistake, was looking for a budget 5.1 AV Surround Sound Setup and came across good reviews for the Jamo 101 HCS 5 system. For just over £200 I thought it was a good deal especially with the decent reviews it was getting. Unfortuantly my attention to detail was lacking and didnt realise it didnt come with a receiver. So I am looking for a good budget AV reciever to go with these speakers, I have a 3D TV so 3D HDMI would be a good feature.

Cheers

what is your budget?
Recievers from Denon, Yamaha and Marantz are often recommended for Jamo speakers.

Hi

Thanks for the link Davepuma I will have a good look through.

My budget is £300 at a maximum, would prefer to keep it to the £200 range though as I never intended to spend that much on it, as my current surround sound is using a Logitech Z-680 and to be honest for my ears its very good and still works great but as its only got 1 optical input and the basic computer 5.1 inputs its no use for HDMI stuff.

At the moment I have my HDMI devices going to my TV and my TV passing the sound to my Z-680.

Cheers

With those speakers I would look at the Yamaha 371 or Denon 1312. I see little point in spending more than around £200 on the reciever considering the speakers.
