Hello all - first time posting :hiya: - so hope ill get the advise i need

I have just entred the world of good sounding music with the following system

    B&W 604 s3 Speakers
    Nad C352 AMP
    Nad C521BEE CD

Chord Rumour 4 bi wire cable
    QED Qunex 4 phono

her is a link to my room
    http://uk.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/squillinossett/album?.dir=/c859

as you can see i am in a small room at the moment - but am looking to now go into HC.

was looking for an AV amp to power rears and centre while keeping the NAD for the front two (using pre outs)

i know naff all about HC so need to know what a good amp for around 400 - 500 is.

also i was thinking about using the following speakers for surround

    B&W lcr60 centre
    B&W DM600s3 rears

are these any good, or would you reccomend any others - was looking at these as i like the sound of my mountains (604's) and believe i would get better intergration with all the drivers, is this so.

also what cable - me thinks using the rumour 4 might prove a bit pricey at 20 quid a meter lol

any comments and feedback welcome - be positive or not

    thanks
    Phil

    (ps great forums  )

Go for the B&W speakers , they will give you complete intergration of sounds:smashin:

    As for amps.
    Marantz sr7400/7500
Yamaha rx-v1400(if you can find one)/ax750SE
    Pioneer ax3 or maybe 1014
    Nad t753
    Denon avr1805/2805

Use the chord Rumour for the centre and use some cheaper chord cable for the rears or something like this:
    http://www.hifibitz.co.uk/product.asp?id=604

The rears dont do that much work so dotn need such quality cable asyour using for the fronts

    Hops this helps:lesson:

what are your views on the NAD amps? as i would like all the systwm to "look" nice - and i really like look of the the ax3 and the fact it THX!!!

also thought the NAD amp woild "work" better with the NAD 2 channel amp?
