Hi guys, thinking of upgrading at the moment and have about £400 to spare.
Im not afraid of going second hand as im never going to need any more than 5.1 in my current room.

Basically my wants are as follows:

    Plenty of power

    A nice stereo performance

    DD and DTS.

Im not worried about how many different sound modes it has ect, I just want a plain 5.1 amp with plenty of guts and a nice sound, Thats it.

Any suggestions? I appriciate thats is not a very easy question to answer!

    Cheers, Dan

Radiohead, going to listen to one tommorow but not sure it will have the balls.

Horney dragon, sound good but one on ebay at the moment for £899 buy it now, so its a little out my budget which is a shame.

    Any other suggestions?

Harman Kardon 5550. Also superbly powerful amp. Also worth looking at is the ax750 as suggested before. Second hand RX-V1400/2400. Denon av1s (think thats right) Marantz SR7400. Does everything and plays stereo well.
