Whenever I put a cassette into my car radio/cassette player the auto reverse just keeps flipping sides constantly without pausing to actually play anything. It started after the flap that covers the opening for the cassette broke off and got stuck inside. I managed to fish it out but every since I've had the auto reverse problem.

I'm looking for a quick fix as I'm travelling in the car over the weekend, and every garage I've phoned wants to take out the stereo and send it away for repair. I want to connect my mp3 player via the cassette player with one of those car adapter kits from Argos.

Anyone got any (sensible) suggestions ?

    Ta.

it seems as a small piece of that flap may have broke off and got stuck in...

you could try fishing about in there or it has to be sent away i think..
