Auto Power off in JVC VCR's

I'm thinking of getting a JVC VCR - the JVC HRV605EK in particular. I notice it has an auto-power off feature after 3 hours. Is this 'feature' optional? Can it be switched off? It wouldn't be much good if you used your VCR as a tuner.

Found my answer - checked the JVC website and read the answer in their online manual - yes, you can switch it off.
