My (LG) DVD recorder clock skipped a few minutes last night even tho it is set to auto clock reset. Almost lost a timer recording. Does any knowledgeable party know how the clock auto reset works. Is it from Teletext, Ceefax etc. and if so does it reset only on the signal it is tuned to. The recorder usually only ever sees SKY signals (which have no normal teletext) as the local terrestrial signal is too weak for text. Would that explain why it did not reset or is it faulty. I also watch ARTE from Astra1 sometimes which does still have normal text but is 1 hour ahead of BST. Would the recorder clock set itself to central European time if the recorder was tuned to ARTE. And in that case if I wanted to make a timer recording from ARTE I would set in the central Europe start time as though I was in Switzerland or wherever Europe is.

    thanks in advance
