Authorised Denon Dealers v Mail Order

    Do the various mail order and internet retailers (such as discount tv / leading edge) still provide the 2 year warranty that comes with standard Denon products? I've previously used an authorised dealer when i purchased my A1SR (and consequently paid a lot!), but am looking now to get the 3800 dvd player....

    Any thoughts from people who've shopped around / any other support type issues I should be aware of, or am i just being stoopid?

    Discount Tv definitely does, as does www.creative-audio.co.uk though I believe Creative has no 3800 stock right now.
    Providing it is an authorised Denon dealer I would be happy to buy on-line, but I wouldn't buy from a non-authorised Denon dealer, on-line or anywhere.
    It is more of an issue in U.S., where re-sellers remove serial numbers of stock allegedly supplied to them by authorised dealers and Denon is pretty resolved to not providing service back-up.
