Anyone know a reliable Aussy mail order supplier?

I'm trying to get hold of a copy of Paris Texas which is, bizzarely, only available in Australia.

It's available as a Region 2 disc from Amazon's French website:

    Amazon link here

EzyDVD has been recommended by some members in the past:

I have used Ezy quite a few times in the past and have to agree they do provide a great service although not alway customs friendly on box sets.
Another site is www.dvdcrave.com I haven't used them myself but I have heard good things about them.

I can't argue with that, but sometimes it works out not much cheaper that the high street once customs and the post office have taken their bit.

I tend to only order things R4 when they work out significantly cheaper than play et al including the customs charge. I've only ordered twice, 2nd one being in transit, so I'm assuming I'll always get the extra tenner added on.

    Just for info...

I orderd the following from EZYdvd Before (R4)

    1st order: Ultimate DVD

    2nd Order: Moulin Rouge

3rd Order: Thirteen Days & Death Race 2000

so far every order has arrived within 3-4 days was MUCH cheaper than R1/R4 (typically at least £5) and i've NEVER (touch wood) been hit for customs.

    Regards

heres hoping for my second delivery :)

I however tend to order in blocks. Last time it was about eight discs so a bigger parcel and hence got customs attention.

Next time I may weigh up just ordering a single discs and the associated carriage costs compared with several discs cheaper carriage per disc but the extra customs charge. I'll see what would work out cheaper.

    thanks for that

From what I have gathered from other threads virtually ANY order over £34 from Ezy DVD seems to get hit for customs.

You're probably better off ordering yoru discs in 2's or 3's.

    All the best

Paris Texas arrived this AM (Friday) ordered last Sunday. Not bad I think. I'll certainly use them again.
