Hi, looking for some advice.

I currently run a 6.2.4 Atmos and 10.2 Auro3D setup. Front Heights are currently shared in the Auro3D position (Front wall above Mains), Rears Heights and VOG all have their own speakers (3 on ceiling and 2 on side walls).

Looking at making Auro3D 11.2 so can anyone enlighten me on the advantages of adding a Centre Height.

After a search all I have been able to find is that it benefits off axis seating positions. Are there any benefits for the MLP?

By center-height, to you mean center-top or center-height above the front speakers?

On my Marantz AV 10, Atmos doesn't support center-height nor center-top, but DTS:X does (only if your receiver has DTS:X Pro) and IMAX Enhanced content (technically also DTS:X). In fact, IMAX content specifically uses a height channel because the screen is so tall.

If you have a Trinnov or Storm, it's my understanding that they can utilize that center height channel for Atmos, but I don't have one to test, so it's just hearsay.
