Audyssey after rew calibration

Yoiu'd ordinarilly be user the results attained by REW to modify the curves already attained via Audyssey. You'd have to run Audyssey for those curves to be in effect post alteration. Turning Audyssey off bypass the room EQ curves altogether.

After turning audyssey off sound is good but surrounds are not active like before , what can be the problem

Tuning Audyssey off would oe should havr mo effect upon whether or not the surround speakers are active. The receiver would simply be bypassing the Audyssey room EQ filters and or the Audyssey Dynamic processing if that was engaged.

I can only suggest that you look at what upmixing is being engaged if any? As said though, the Audyssey room EQ correction has nothing to do with the upmixing or whether or not your surround speakers are engaged.

Maybe you had the Dynamic EQ feature turned on and maybe it is the absence of this processing that is effecting how you hear the audio being portrayed?

No audyssey deq is off ,sound from avr is different from post rew calibration also I have tested some movies, sound is different now and surrounds are very limited compared to before and after rew calibration

Sund orobably will be different is not using Audyssey. Audyssey filters the audio in order to try address issues caused by the acoustics of your room. Turn it off and the audio is no longer being filtered and will sound different.

REW is not a replacement for Audyssey and is merely a way in which to measure various aspects of the audio in a given space. REW does not calibrate your AV receiver and isn't even aware of its existence.

Audyssey has no effect upon the AV receiver's ability to use the surround speakers to portray surround sound. Turning it off would not disengage your surround speakers. The surrounds are being sent the exact same audio that was being sent to them prior to you turning off Audyssey room EQ correction. Contrary to what you believe to be the case, it would appear that Audyssey was correcting something that was effecting how you perceived the audio being output by your surround speakers and the settings you've used REW to ascertain don't appear to be doing this?

The only thing that has changed is that you are no longer using Audyssey to correct any anomalies will the audio that may have been caused by your room's acoustics.
