I've just bought one of these off ebay, I'd like to know if it has a digital co-axial input. If so should I use this to connect to my CD player (Marantz CD63 KI signature) or the normal stereo phono connections?

Analogue pair only as far as I remember, no on-board DACs

    Cheers

One of my friends is selling one of these for £40. He says that some of the inputs are slightly dodgy but should be fixable...
Think this would be a worthwhile investment for me?
I'd be driving a pair of KEF 103.2s with it and using my PC as source almost 100% of the time.

If it works then buy it. If you can use the serviceable input/s then it's a bargain. You wont find anything better anywhere near that price.

    Sweet.
I've arranged to get it on Thursday. Seemingly whatever connections it is that are dodgy, are only intermittently dodgy, meaning just bad solder I hope.
    We shall see...

    HOLY GOD.
You were so right. This sounds awesome. All it needs is some of the phono connections replaced.

    Serial # is : 8939310

    dunno if that means anything.

All I can say is wow.
