Hi All.

The time has come to sell my Oppo 95eu but I don't know what kind of price I should be looking for.

As far as I can see it is mint and comes boxed with all accessories.

When purchased I also had it unlocked for multiregion discs etc.

Audiocom sell two variants - the Refence and Signature models. Well this is an inbetweener!
I purchased the Reference model but paid for some extras. Which were - Bybee slipstreams x 2 and a E-rad+ (I think it says E-rad, I am reading handwriting form original receipt).

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

The price will be what someone is prepared to pay - at a price you are prepared to let it go for.

Strictly speaking this thread should not be here, as it is a way of garnering potential buyers - and we have strict rules that such potentially transactional threads should only appear in the classified section.

A member has responded above ( and obviously gone to the trouble to find out) the range of prices you can expect - so please - no more bumping, which reinforces the idea you are looking for a buyer.

I suggest you advertise it in the classifieds at a price you would let it go for.
If offers fall short you do not have to accept.

I know how the buying and selling system works.

I hadn’t realised it was against the rules on here to ask for fellow enthusiasts opinion on a slightly unusual item that is due to be for sale. If I can’t ask here where can I ask?

I could of easily posted in the classifieds to drum up business if that was my intention at this point, unless I am banned? If you look at my p.m’s if you haven’t already you will see someone contacted me about it and you will also see my reply. If I were bumping to drum a sale then as you see it could have been sold. I was bumping for an answer to my question.

I appreciated the member taking the time to look on EBay. Although, I thought you were unable to mention that site on here for some reason, or has that changed? The member gave me info on a totally different item but I was still polite and ‘liked’ the answer.

Isn’t it the same asking the question I asked as searching for a standard item through the search facility. I am allowed to search for a standard item and the sale price info is readily available, so as the information I required is not available through your search of archived classifieds facility what’s the issue with asking?

I hadn’t realised bumping in any other thread than the classifieds section was a no, no and/or against the rules. So, I apologise for that.

If this thread is a problem please close or do whatever you need to with it.

At the end of the day you have a specialised item (Audiocom modified) to sell so its difficult to price. You can use tools like Bidvoy (for example) to analyse the prices of standard players, but at the end of the day I'd suggest you pick a price on the high end, advertise it and see if you get any interest. If not then reduce and repeat.

Agreed. The only price info I've seen close is for an Audiocom modified 103 at £999
Audiocom Oppo BDP-103d Signature Used
but that is a different newer model with a different modification level and comes with a 12 month warranty so wouldn't be directly applicable.
