audio video sync issues

Hi,

there seem to be problems with playing divx files. The audio is quite a bit out of sync with the video.

Does anyone else have this issue and know how to fix?

I've got kazaa lite codec and a fast laptop dual core 2.4ghz..

Cheers,

Chris

Is it with all DiVx or just a particular film?
If the latter, it's most likely down to the encoding.

Are these downloaded DIVX files or files you have encoded from DVDs or TV recordings?

Does the audio synch get worse as the film progresses or does it stay about the same amount out of synch throughout?

christhedon - did you ever get this sorted? I'm having the same problem. Mainly divx files I've created using the Divx Converter. Can you use ffdshow to convert files to Divx?
