    Hi

Im new here and pretty new with home audio so ill need a bit of help, ive chatted to a few mates about some stuff and they recomended me to come to this forum for some help, i choose some stuff i like and just wondering what you all think here is a list of it, it links to richer sound sorry if this isnt allowed on these forums and ill remove it if its not.

    Pioneer VSXC301 : £159 .95

    Gale 3040 : £119 .95

    Gale 3060 : £79 .95

    Gale 3050c : £79 .95

    Gale 3080 : £ 69 .95

Ive a budget of about £500 for the speakers and £500 for the tv but on with the speakers first. I would like to get an additional sub woofer because i like my bass when listening to music and in films etc. but would i get enough from those fronts, or would i need an additional pre amped one. The receiver will be ran from my computer from the optical out on the onboard sound on my Shuttles soundstorm. So what do you recomend, as you can see ive choose all beech since it maches with whats in the room and cant really see any subs that are decent and are beech (im a bit piky on the colour :x). I also dont know why i choose all gale speakers, they all looked nice and seemed to be ok spec, is gale a good make or should i avoid them? Also what about speaker cable and compatibility with the stuff i have chosen, what do you think ?

The tv it will be used with is
    Sony KV-28HX15 : £499.99
    http://www.sony.co.uk/ShowProduct.d...gory=TVP+Widescreen+16x9+TV&product=KV-28HX15

Thanks in advance for any suggestions. :)

EDIT: This all wont be bought till around december but just looking at what sort of system i can get for my price range and if its good.

EDIT2: I decided on a sub that looks good, the Gale 3080 which i added ^^, what you think?

I cant comment on the TV, cable or receiver, but I can comment on the speakers as I have the same set.

I opted for the Tannoy speakers due to the very limited space in my living room, and I can say that I have been very happy with them. Depsite their small size you get an excellent sound out of them. I am sure you will be very happy with them.
