    Hi!

I'm considering to buy an LG 19LE3300.

My only concern is whether I can connect my iPod touch 2g to use it for music playback WITHOUT connecting a video signal?

I know that some Samsung TVs disallow audio-only input. What about LG TVs? What about this particular model?

    Cheers and thnx in advance!

    Hi.
Might one ask why? TV speakers, particularly LED TV speakers generally pale into comparison with even an inexpensive HiFi/Surround setup.
As an aside, you know that TV has basic USB media playback, right? So you can just copy your .mp3s to the ipod and use it as a storage device (iPods can do that,right?)... Added bonus; if the ipod can charge via USB...

Most people that browse this forum would have been at work today and since you posted it in the middle of the night you can't expect a fast response.
Also chances are that no one viewing this has that model and can answer to confirm your query one way or the other.
Your 2nd generation ipod Touch has video out via the appropriate dock connector cable so it will work on any Tv with an AV input...it outputs composite or component video via the appropriate cable.

    Thanks for the feedback!

Then it will likely be a Panasonic Viera TX-L19D28EW, which comes with an iPod dock. A little bit on the thick side, but it's white ;)

    Cheers and thanks!
