I am about to order the Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, but the audio format mentioned in cd-wow make me a bit worry. I would like to have this movie in original Mandarin (I think it is originally in Mandarin, not Cantonese, right?), but info on cd-wow said:

Audio: Mandarin - Dolby Digital Stereo

Could someone who has this dvd please confirm that? This movie doesn't even come with DD?

Had also checked play.com for R1 and R2.

    R2:
normal vesion: Mandarin ; English (Dubbed) - Dolby Digital (5.1)
superbit: English - Dolby Digital (5.1) ; DTS

    R1:
normal version: Mandarin ; English - Dolby Digital (5.1)
superbit: Mandarin - Dolby Digital (5.1) ; DTS

the R1 superbit costs GBP15.99 in play, does it worth the price over GBP6.99 for the normal version?

Thank you very much for your help,

The R2 has DD5.1 tracks in Mandarin & English.

If you can get the R3 version, it has a better English subtitle translation.

    Nike and Mr. Bump,

Thanks for your information. I did read the site on dvdcompare but somehow it is contradict to what listed in cd-wow, I was thinking about this might be the latest data, just want to make sure that it is what I want to have :)

BTW, do you think I should invest for the R1 superbit?

    Thanks once again.
