    Nizam,
Im still expecting something from you:(!

Im not sure how Mark does it but If I wanted to use an ac3 audio from the video, I would go back to the project and render out the time line as an Audio
file by choosing Dolby Digital AC3 in the Save as type drop down menu
The resulting *.ac3 file should have an identical name to the Previously saved DVDA template mpeg file and where possible saved in an identical folder
This saves DVDA from needing to rerender any audio later ( if present)
If however if you render your video from Vegas ( or elsewhere) as an ordinary mpeg2 with "intergrated audio" ( not DVDA template) you can still render audio as ac3 for the DVD in DVDA.

This will however make the process longer as DVDA will have to render out the existing audio ( PCM, mpeg ect) to ac3

I would do it exactly as you describe. If you render the audio out with the same base file name (xxx.mpg for the video, xxx.ac3 for the audio) in the same directory DVDA will find both and use them.
