good evening gents, I just got hold of a pinnacle dvb-t 310i twin tuner pci card for my htpc after solving (somehow) the problems with the driver dropping out after restarts in vista ultimate i now have another problem, I have connected my sky hd box to the capture port on the card through s-video (best available) but there is no audio input. the question is, is there any way of getting audio to the card ? thnx kev
just found this cable that would do it, i hope,anyone know where i can get one searched everywhere ? any help would be appreciated. kev
So there is no audio in available in the card? Then what is normally done is that you connect using your sound card's "line in" and use that to record. I had an old Pinnacle tv card once andfor the audio to work, I had to connect the pinnacle card to the sound card line in, even though I was only using it for normal TV, but in your case, you may have to go directly to your sound card.
