im still getting huge problems with my audio files....more and more are becoming full of glitches and cracklings in the background.

it seems like one day its perfect fine and then the next day its got crackling in the back.

seriously is doing my head in!

anyone had any experience of downloaded/ripped audio files being fine one day and then the next full of glitches?

i recently created a partition and moved all my music to that partition....could the transfer of the music be the cause of the problem?

im going to reformat and lose all my music and re-rip and re-download it all!

    :thumbsdow

It's not your sound card that's playing up is it ?

Is it possible to email a track to someone so they can listen to see if they get the same problem with the sound ?

Having listened to the snippet of the track, I can hear crackles now and again, but am wondering if these have happened when ripping from the cd. My worry is that if you do it all again you will still get the same problem if it's caused by something on your PC. What spec is your PC ?
