Audio Dropouts

I've just watched American Chopper on Discovery HD and experienced what I can only describe as audio dropouts every now and again.

I'd paused it to take a quick phonecall and when I resumed play the sound would completely disappear for about 10 seconds every few minutes. When
I got to the adverts I hit the stop button and obviously caught up with "real time". The sound was fine again so I assumed there was a problem with the recording aspect but right towards the end the sound disappeared again for a few seconds.

It's never happened before and I'm just concerned it may be the start of an inherent problem.

Has anyone else experienced this and could it simply have been a problem with the broadcast?

There's nothing to worry about - mine did the same all the way through as well. There must have been a fault with the broadcast.
