    hi

I live in spain and they use a different frequency for audio on analogue tv channels than the uk, thus UK tvs brought over normally have to have a pots tuned so that you can hear the sound.

I was looking at buying a pdp-433mxe in uk as is 50% cheaper there than here. As it has the 5002 card, does anyone know if that also to be *tuned* as well.

a friend mentioned that if it was multisystem ( could accept all PAL code and NTSC ) then I would be ok.

    any info would be helpful

    cheers

    Hi,

The PDA-5002 card doesn't have a "tuner" fitted. It will handle all PAL and NTSC video signals. If you are using a modded UK-sourced VCR as your tuner, the composite (or s-video) video output can be fed straight to the PDA-5002 card and the sound to your amplifier. Hope this helps.
