Audio 2 Graphics

    Hi There,

    Had an interesting thought the other day while doing some construction on the HT, my intention is to use it for listening to music as well as cinema. Seeing its a dedicated room, it has a fixed screen and fixed seating organised to view said screen (CRT projector set-up).

    Now the screen for Music is a bit bland as a big white blank space, so is there any PC progs that can do swirly paterns or similar to music, maybe with a Mic input to synch sound and screen ???

    WHat are you using to play the music, is it coming from your PC? Winamp and WMP10 both have visualisations, and milkdrop for Winamp is pretty trippy to watch :)

    Anything from a Stand alone CD player, to Squeezebox and even a record deck !

    Hence the mic input idea, i mean most PC's come with a free cheap mic, so i was hopeing someone had done a stand alone visualiser !

    Looks like whitecap will do it for free and G-force for $30 bucks as standalone apps....http://www.soundspectrum.com/

    I'd like other options if anyone knows of any, free good, cost ok too.
