AV Bristol are selling these at £69.99 thinking of getting it for bedroom setup just to give tv and bluray a bit of a boost connected to a Sony STR-DB790.
    Any thoughts/user reviews?

Audica CS-LCR Left Centre & Right Speaker

    Thanks

    Regards Martin

Seems to get good reviews and meant to sound pretty good for its small size,am wondering though the stated specs say it will go down to 80hz from a 50mm LF driver:confused:
Have ordered one as good price and must be a vast improvement on the tv speakers and already have the avr sitting there doing nothing.

    Regards Martin

The soundbar arrived within 2 working days from AV Bristol but didnt get a chance to set it up till yesterday.
The unit itself is very solid with great build quality and in situ looks even smaller than its dimensions if that makes sense.
Hooked it up with my existing cables although 3 cables were supplied with the speaker then gave a quick demo.
Playing a cd the sound was very detailed and I was amazed by the clarity and stereo separation for such a small speaker much better than it has any right to be.
Tried a dvd next and was again surprised at how well the bar performed again very good clarity and a decent front soundstage.
The bass is abit lacking but that was expected and the bar is designed to be used with a subwoofer.
Can see this bar working very well if your tv is in a corner and you dont have the room for conventional speakers.
Am really happy with the CS-LCR and at 70 quid a bargain imo:smashin:

    Regards Martin
