Atmos soundbar onto mounted TV in corner of room?

Novice Member
In the real world of a small UK house*, I have a corner mounted 49" Panasonic screen (TX-49FX700B) on a 100kg bracket. Underneath is a Canton DM55 but because of the angle of the TV and the shelving underneath the Canton is not directly aligned to the screen, and this changes when we move screen angle for more people in lounge.

Although I clearly have some hearing issues (!) we regularly find the sound, especially voices quite unclear (even after adjusting) and I've been thinking of mounting a soundbar onto the TV bracket so it is always aligned to the angle of the TV screen.

Has anyone done this with a Dolby Atmos bar and if so, which one and is it successful?

(*So frustrating seeing all these media units flush in the centre of a room that manufacturers use in pictures!)
