I know this is a daft question, but ... if I setup my Radeon with the 848x480 custom resolution is the DVD player (the one that ships with the Radeon in this case) going to automatically know this is a widescreen resolution and just expand the image appropriately ? I'd hate to think it just assumes everything is 4x3 so would end up shrinking the anamorphic DVD to 4x3 and then stretching that out to fill 848x480. There just aren't any "widescreen" setup options that I can find, even with DVD Genie.

You really need Powerstrip, with this program you can create your own resolutions (or copy ones that others have working). I've done this, using Li On's settings, and they're good.

    Found here

I have a few queries about it as I've just got into it, but that's the start.
