I have just purchased the pinnacle studio 7 video editing suite, but I have been unable to get it to work.

Problem :- I have tried to capture video from my camcorder (JVC DVP3), but I just get an error message "capture error"; also nothing appears in the viewing window.

My graphics card is the ati all in one wonder 128, could this be the problem?

Has anyone got experience of things to try?
    Please help if you can:rolleyes:

The best way to capture your video is going to be by using a firewire card and the DV port on the camcorder. If you have got a DV camera you may as well take advantage of it:)

to get an idea of prices take a look at Dabs.com

If you have thought about this and wanted to try and use what you already have then sorry I can't help further as I am not familiar with the ATI card. However I do recall a friend saying he captured in the ATI software and then imported it to studio
