Hello. For sale is my Atacama AVI TV stand

Has completely integrated AV and TV support, lots of swivel and tilt action available (although tilt is very definitely a set it and forget it affair), and with integrated cable management with multiple entrance and exit points front and back of the support tube.

This is an excellent stand and only for sale because I'm getting rid of the fireplace to mount my new lg there.

Due to predominance of glass would prefer pickup from London in person, although will deliver within m25 and near kent for petrol money.

When new the stand was marketed from 40 inch up to 50 inch in screen size but that was back when TV were heavy and had the Vesa towards the centre of the screen.

The spec for the mount was 40kg and this TL model extended the height to provide clearance above the glass shelf to 50" compared to the shorter TS. But screens of course nowadays tend to have the electronics and vesa pattern below centre with lighter and thinner OLED and LED above centre so I'd think most screens ~60" would probably fit.

Update: I spoke with Atacama who kindly confirmed the max TV weight was 40kg and the screen size was for clearance and to prevent the unit becoming top heavy. Nowadays with lighter and typically bottom heavy TVs the weight becomes the limiting factor.

You can check from the spec attached but you'll see there is almost infinite adjustment of the mount width and plenty of vesa height options.

It currently supports my Sony KDL 40x3500, which weighs 26kg which is more than most 65" screens today, and with enough clearance for a QED centre speaker tucked below on the glass shelf. The centre line of the bracket is 60 cm above the glass and my 65 LG OLED E6 certainly looks like it would fit.

Spotless and has the thicker vesa spacer and bolts to match which will support most screens - you may need to source standard bolts from your DIY store if the ones I have don't penetrate your TV to the required depth.

Hi. Alas I don't. Packing is an option but tbh am worried about sending the glass panel by post and it is bulky and heavy. Is it doable do you think?

I guess if it's sent insured and marked fragile that's the posties issue not ours?

Do you know if a 65" Samsung curved tv would fit on this?

What's the best price you would accept cash on collection?

    Hi.

I did chat to a chap in Glasgow but quick recce of the postage cost given bulk, weight and that is need to buy quite a bit of packing materials... would make it unfeasable to post in my opinion. Let me just check that he won't be offended..

P.s. yes I think it would fit....
modern tv tend to have bracket vesa mount holes at the bottom which will lift the screen up even with the larger sizes. The Atacama engineer i spoke to Ajay said they're previous size guide was for weight but also to prevent it being too top heavy, again not an issue nowadays where electronics tend to be stashed in the buttons half of most screens. And my new oled 65 is the exact same weight of the Sony 40 LCD that came off it so weight won't be an issue i think. Finally these brackets have lots of adjustment available and width is infinitely adjustable nearly.

    Hi again

I'd be willing to take £150 which I think is reasonable given quality and that it's spotless and still looks current.
I've sent you first digits of my postcode offline so you can check distances if you like the sound of this.

I have the m6 mount bolts which are the more usual size to go into the back of your tv but the included spacers and washers have two hole sizes so will take m4 or m8 bolt diameter too - I'm not sure which Samsung takes but certainly my 65 e6 fitted so i think it would be ideal for your Samsung.
But alas I don't have the m4 or m8 still but they're readily obtained from screwfix or b&q or whatever. Sorry I should have put that very minor detail into the thread.

    Cheers
    Chris
